These tubes are used for the determination of Plasma for coagulation test.  These coagulations tubes are filled with buffered tri-Sodium citrate solution.

The proportion of blood to sodium citrate anticoagulant volume is 9:1

Additive: Sodium Citrate tubes contain buffered tri sodium citrate 3.2% (0.109mol/l) functions as anticoagulant by melting calcium.
